Ross Round Honey

8oz Ross Round section of pure local honey from summer of 2023. Bees forage mainly over pumpkins, clover, and alfalfa resulting in a light color and taste.

Ross Rounds are unique to jarred honey, as bees build the honeycomb right in the round container. The comb is then filled with honey and capped with wax when full. We then extract the Ross Round super, and package the round as-is, exactly as the bees would leave it in their hive. As fresh and unaltered as honey can get, this is honey in it's most pure state.

How to eat Ross Round honey: Take a chunk and eat it is-as! The honeycomb can be chewed like gum. It can also be spread over toast, english muffin, etc like normal jarred honey - just note that it will spread easier if the toast/muffin is warm/hot. The comb will not melt completely, but will become soft. Ross Rounds are also a super fun and unique addition to any charcuterie board!
